Sales Strategy

It might seem obvious but without a sales strategy the sales function in a business is rudderless. However it is not unusual for a small business not to have a sales strategy because often, there is no-one in the business who has ever written one. When a business starts trading the sales strategy is often in the head of the owner/manager but over time there is a need to articulate the business plan in terms of the sales strategy.

Miram Consulting will work with your owner/managers to apply a strategy framework and develop the strategic sales plan for your business. If you already use a strategy framework for planning within the business we are happy to work with that and adapt it to the requirements of the sales strategy.

In order to develop the sales strategy it will be necessary for you to have a business strategy and if this is not in place we can help you develop this also. What we anticipate delivering with you is a clarity about:

  • The value proposition, by audience if appropriate
  • The customer or customers in terms of who and where they are
  • The go to market strategy
  • The objectives, targets and measurement structure
  • The alternatives and priorities
